seeed was founded by Ewan Carson after he saw the need within the industry for better services to allow the successful delivery of projects. An architect by trade and a trouble shooter by nature, Ewan has crafted the systems and tools which seeed uses to deliver projects for clients.
Ewan’s background in environmental engineering has given seeed a dual advantage: a progressive green ethos combined with a methodical approach with an emphasis on practicality.
The name seeed was born from the idea that our services examine projects at their ‘beginnings’ to allow a project to grow and mature in the same way a seed does.
Our logo uses the form of a maple seed, which has the unique ability to fly through the air and ‘select’ its landing place—much in the same way seeed’s services establish the optimum conditions for a project to grow to its expected and full potential.
Keeping with the environmental thought, we practice a paperless office by using:
- A paperless fax which converts files direct from the computer to a PDF to transmit faxes electronically, and receives incoming faxes via email.
- Efficient drawing mark-ups that use intuitive PDF software to analyse, design, change, and track all aspects of the drawing without using paper. Layers show any revisions made so a full history is maintained.
- A virtual product library that contains supplier details and brochures.
We’d love to talk to you about your next project, drop us a line.
